Summary—In this paper an attempt is made to determine the value of the solid angle of the Sun's corpuscular streams. This value has great importance in investigations of the influence of the solar activity on the nature of the active processes on the Sun. The solid angle of the corpuscular solar radiation may be evaluated by using data on: (1) The duration of the magnetic storms; (2) the increase of geomagnetic activity during the equinoctial seasons; (3) the correlation?coefficients between magnetic activity and area of sunspots in the central zones with different radii; (4) the lag of the 11?year variations of geomagnetic activity in comparison with the solar index owing to Spörer's law.The researches show that the solid angle of the solar corpuscular streams is from 8° to 9°.
